The Lord is Faithful to His Promises

Songs for Sabbath Worship (6/17/2017)
Opening Song
Remember the Sabbath
Song Service #1
Amazing Grace!
How sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me
I once was lost but now am found
Was blind but now I see
When we’ve been there ten thousand years
Bright shining as the sun
We’ve no less days to sing God’s praise
Than when we’ve first begun
Through many dangers, toils and snares
I have already come
‘Tis Grace has brought me safe thus far
And Grace will lead me home
Amazing Grace!
How sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me
I once was lost but now am found
Was blind but now I see
Was blind but now I see
Song Service #2
We choose the fear of the Lord
We choose the fear of the Lord
We choose the fear of the Lord
For the fear of the Lord is to hate all evil
We choose the fear of the Lord
We choose the fear of the Lord
We choose the way of the Lord
We choose the way of the Lord
For the way of the Lord is the way of wisdom
We choose the way of the Lord
We choose the way of the Lord
He who delights in the Word of the Lord
Shall be blessed in all of his ways
For the friendship of God is with those who fear Him
So we choose the fear of the Lord
We choose the Word of the Lord
We choose the Word of the Lord
We choose the Word of the Lord
For the Word of the Lord shall endure forever
We choose the Word of the Lord
We choose the Word of the Lord
Closing Song
In a little while we’re going home
Let us sing a song that will cheer us on the way
In a little while we’re going home
The night will end in everlasting day
In a little while we’re going home
In a little while, in a little while
We shall cross the billow’s foam
We will meet at last
When the stormy winds have passed
In a little while we’re going home
There is rest beyond, there’s relief from every care
In a little while we’re going home
No tears shall fall in that city bright and fair
In a little while we’re going home
In a little while, in a little while
We shall cross the billow’s foam
We will meet at last
When the stormy winds have passed
In a little while we’re going home
We shall do the work that our hands may find to do
In a little while we’re going home
The grace of God will our daily strength renew
In a little while we’re going home
In a little while, in a little while
We shall cross the billow’s foam
We will meet at last
When the stormy winds have passed
In a little while we’re going home
In a little while, in a little while
We shall cross the billow’s foam
We will meet at last
When the stormy winds have passed
In a little while we’re going home

Opening Song
ALL HAIL THE POWER OF JESUS NAME
1
All hail the power of Jesus’ name! Let angels prostrate fall;
Bring forth the royal diadem, and crown Him Lord of all.
Bring forth the royal diadem, and crown Him Lord of all.
2
Ye chosen seed of Israel’s race, ye ransomed from the fall,
Hail Him who saves you by His grace, and crown Him Lord of all.
Hail Him who saves you by His grace, and crown Him Lord of all.
3
Let every kindred, every tribe on this terrestrial ball
To Him all majesty ascribe, and crown Him Lord of all.
To Him all majesty ascribe, and crown Him Lord of all.
4
O that with yonder angel throng we at His feet may fall!
We’ll join the everlasting song, and crown Him Lord of all.
We’ll join the everlasting song, and crown Him Lord of all.
Song Service 1:
SOFTLY AND TENDERLY
1
Softly and tenderly Jesus is calling,
calling for you and for me;
see, on the portals he’s waiting and watching,
watching for you and for me.
Refrain
Come home, come home;
ye who are weary come home;
earnestly, tenderly, Jesus is calling,
calling, O sinner, come home!
2
Why should we tary when Jesus is pleading,
pleading for you and for me?
Why should we linger and heed not his mercies,
mercies for you and for me?
3
Think of the wonderful love he has promised,
promised for you and for me!
Though we have sinned, he has mercy and pardon,
Song Service 2:
Amazing Grace
1
Amazing grace! How sweet the sound
that saved a wretch like me!
I once was lost, but now am found;
was blind, but now I see.
2
‘Twas grace that taught my heart to fear,
and grace my fears relieved;
how precious did that grace appear
the hour I first believed.
3
The Lord has promised good to me,
his word my hope secures;
he will my shield and portion be,
as long as life endures.
4
Through many dangers, toils, and snares,
I have already come;
’tis grace hath brought me safe thus far,
and grace will lead me home.
5
When we’ve been there ten thousand years,
bright shining as the sun,
we’ve no less days to sing God’s praise
than when we first begun.
Closing Song
We Have This Hope
1
We have this hope that burns within our heart,
Hope in the coming of the Lord.
We have this faith that Christ alone imparts,
Faith in the promise of His Word.
We believe the time is here,
When the nations far and near
Shall awake, and shout and sing
Hallelujah! Christ is King!
We have this hope that burns within our heart,
Hope in the coming of the Lord.
2
We are united in Jesus Christ our Lord.
We are united in His love.
Love for the waiting people of the world,
People who need our Savior’s love.
Soon the heav’ns will open wide,
Christ will come to claim His bride,
All the universe will sing
Hallelujah! Christ is King!
We have this hope this faith, and God’s great love,
We are united in Christ.

DAY 6
The Story of Samuel
After the story telling, the children learned that God is always watching for boys and
girls who choose to be obedient as Samuel was.
The children practice reciting their memory verse as preparation for the Graduation.
And the child Samuel ministered unto the Lord before Eli. And the word of the Lord was precious in those days; there was no open vision. 1 Samuel 3

DAY 5
“The Girl with the Loving heart: Story of Ruth”
We started with prayer and praise. Then we do the action songs.
After that, each children recite their memory verse.
Ruth 1:16 “Do not urge me to leave you or to return from following you. For where you go I will go, and where you lodge I will lodge. Your people shall be my people, and your God my God.”
Do you want to know how to resist to temptations?
Ever wonder what we really need to be closer to God and Jesus? 1 Corinthians 10: 12 -13 gives us a clue. this verse speaks to our need. Temptation comes, but we do not understand it and are often NOT prepared for it. But there are points to help us understand it. (1) God permits evil which HE is NOT the author. we must understand where the evil comes from and BELIEVE IT – it is from Satan, no doubt no questions asked. Sin is part of this world and there is nothing we can do about that and must live through it and God will use that to strengthen us. (2) We should be AFRAID of temptation. Do not think you are ever strong enough to resist or do anything on your own strength. (3) We should never think or believe we cannot resist temptation. Example: I cannot help it, i am the only one that experiences that. Wrong you are or would be. But we can resist all temptations if we are focused on Jesus.
Please take time to Watch the Video.

4TH DAY
“The Story of Samson”
As usual we, together with the children started the program with a prayer. Then proceeded with the story telling. In the end of the story, the children knew Samson was sorry for disobeying God. And they learned obedience is a very important thing to do, especially obeying God.
Then, we divided them into groups (1-8). We assigned leader in each group ages 14-15. They are the one responsible helping the little children to memorize their memory verse.
Then Samson prayed to the Lord, “Sovereign Lord, remember me. Please, God, strengthen me just once more, and let me with one blow get revenge on the Philistines for my two eyes.” Judges 16:28
